Small workaround:
Detected two days ago, it seems to be a problem in the last update, not in the server.
Today, in all the pages I open there's a "Today Opera OPRDesktop 28.0 core 1750.0, May 25, 2022. Active patches: 21" printed somewhere. I've disabled all extensions and tried in a private window and it's the same.
Can I do something to avoid it to appear?
My version is Opera beta Versión:88.0.4412.13 and User-agent is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/102.0.5005.22 Safari/537.36 OPR/88.0.4412.13 (Edition beta)
Beta is not updated yet. But AliEx... adware is working fine.
@bitrat said in Address/Search bar doesn't work, won't let me enter, grays out text, etc:
Ctrl+Enter solves the problem with manually entered URL addresses (instead of Enter)
Unfortunately the search does not work with Ctrl+Enter. Let's hope that Opera finds a solution quickly.
Corrupted version: 72.0.3815.207
I use Ctrl+Enter to turn "whatever" into "whatever.com". It's a shortcut.
Same in beta version updated today (73.0.3856.31).
@ericartman92 said in Bring back the "Recently closed" button on the top bar on the right:
As pointed by @burnout426
you can diasble the following flag:
Goto the URL opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs, disable the flag, and restart Opera.
Thank you!
In the latest beta version, you removed the recently closed tabs button. It's one of my favorite features. I want it back!
Please comment if you want it too.
Please solve the detached video issue soon. It's my most used feature.
When I press the heart while browsing any page, the bookmarks bar appears with the "Add your first bookmark by using the heart in the address bar... or Import bookmarks now"
I have the bookmarks bar empty and hidden, but it appears each time I bookmark a page. I don't want to happen each time. I know there's a bookmark bar and I don't want to use it. Stop nagging me!
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.40 Safari/537.36 OPR/50.0.2762.14 (Edition beta)
I've found a possible reason. I was logged in with my email instead of my username. After changing it, it seems to work.
EDIT: Problem was not solved.
When I start Opera, the Opera sync button shows a red mark and when I click on it a "Sync is not working" message appears (the message is in my language, spanish, so I can't quote the real one). If I close and re-open the session, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Do you have this problem too?
One of my favorite pages has been blacklisted by Yandex, so I see the warning page every time I try to enter. How can I disable the warning page or create a whitelist?
