I don't use the IA at all, and all I've disabled all the options I can set in the settings. Anyway, when I'm trying to tweet, the **** button appears in the tweet field and covers part of the text, making difficult knowing if there's a comma, or a space or whatever in the final part of the line. In Twitch is even worse, it covers the icon to open the emote menu.

Can we have an option to completely disable it?

This is happening since two versions ago.

Also, the address bar is failing too in the last one.

Same problem for me with the extensions.

Also, an extension I loaded from outside Chrome Store (Bypass paywalls clean) is failing too.

Lots of extensions broken. Same in installed version and USB standalone version.

Solved

Since the last update (Feb 15, 2024) in Opera Beta for Windows, the extensions in the sidebar appear gray (same color as the bookmarks, downloads... icons) and, if include dynamic content (like in Twitch extension the number of active channels), it appears grayed too, which makes some extensions useless. (Screenshot below)

Browser info:

Opera One(versión: 108.0.5067.10)

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/122.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 OPR/108.0.0.0 (Edition beta)

Resetted the browser, it still fails. Also, it does it intermitently, some times it works properly but mostly fails.

When I try to select text while writing a Tweet, the selected text is not highlighted. It happens the same in other sites (not in every page, just several ones) like the login field in Instagram.

Do you have the same problem?

Same problem here with latest Opera beta.

I've been testing the Opera One browser and what I'm missing the most is the Speed dial button in the top. It takes me a while to remember where's the button, and it's much quicker opening a new tab than finding it in the left bar.

Can you please bring it back to its place, at least as an option to turn on/off?

Small workaround:

• Open opera://browserjs
• Press "Disable browser.js..."
• Login

Detected two days ago, it seems to be a problem in the last update, not in the server.

• When logged in, it was impossible to add a video to a collection or publish it.
• After clearing cookies/cache, it's impossible to login.
• Opera stable and GX work. Opera beta and dev don't.
• Installing any of the non-working versions previously listed in a VM and trying to login before it updates does not have any issue. After it updates, it stops working.

After forcing the update, the problem is solved. Thank you.

Today, in all the pages I open there's a "Today Opera OPRDesktop 28.0 core 1750.0, May 25, 2022. Active patches: 21" printed somewhere. I've disabled all extensions and tried in a private window and it's the same.

Can I do something to avoid it to appear?

Beta is not updated yet. But AliEx... adware is working fine.

Unfortunately the search does not work with Ctrl+Enter. Let's hope that Opera finds a solution quickly.

Corrupted version: 72.0.3815.207

I use Ctrl+Enter to turn "whatever" into "whatever.com". It's a shortcut.

Same in beta version updated today (73.0.3856.31).

you can diasble the following flag:
Goto the URL opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs, disable the flag, and restart Opera.
