OK. After some trial and error, I discovered why some of my wallpapers were not showing. That is there was a bracket in the name (). When you rename a bunch of files all at once, with the same name, Windows will put a number in a bracket after each name. For example image(1).jpg, Image(2).jpg and so on. When I remove the brackets from the image name they seem to work fine. Even though this wasn't an issue before. I'm still sticking with Opera GX from Opera One as my default. This same issue appears in Opera GX.

I've got similar issue, but in my case additional tab with opera://intro was opened

@burnout426 Thanks for your reply but I found the solution myself. You got this starter page thing that you want people to jump through. I would just close that tab down. But Opera will not operate properly if you don't jump through the hoops first. Backgrounds will not show, logo keeps showing up. A skip button for people who already have Opera would have been nice.

@aam2018 Hey man do this.

Right click on your opera browser click properties then in the 'target' box paste this at the end

/high-dpi-support=1 /force-device-scale-factor=1

Make sure there is a space after the .exe part in the target box

That will correct your opera dpi settings

@aam2018 If, for some reason, the connection with the DOH server fails, then there will such problems because Opera can't get the page DNS

Try adding Google DOH address as a custom server.

@aam2018 Opera would need to allow choosing more than one DOH service and the other they would be used, so that in case of failure of the first option, the second would be used.

For now you can try change the DOH provider.

OK, I seemed to have solved this problem. It was an extension. Two, in this case, the Honey one and the WOT. I disable the Honey one and Facebook automatically became a little more responsive, then I disabled WOT and Facebook seems to be normal again.

Just wanted you to know I opened the details report from Avast and it was coming from an extension called "Video Downloader For Facebook". So, as long as I know what's causing it.

Never mind. Opera just upgraded and the problem seems to be cleared out again.

Under Start page, you can enable or disable start page options.

I was just trying to remove this one address but I couldn't until I decided to erase the history completely. I went to opera menu, then history, then Clear browsing data and decided to check everything and give the system a good cleaning out. I'm still curious where it came from. Again thanks for the replies.
