Opera Sync does not work

  • When I start Opera, the Opera sync button shows a red mark and when I click on it a "Sync is not working" message appears (the message is in my language, spanish, so I can't quote the real one). If I close and re-open the session, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Do you have this problem too?

  • I've found a possible reason. I was logged in with my email instead of my username. After changing it, it seems to work.

    EDIT: Problem was not solved.

  • Sync has connection issues. Give it awhile and it will pass. That is an issue with the server used for sync and not the web browser itself so there is nothing you can do to fix it.
