How to remove tab close button?

Couldn't find the relevant information online or in the forum for the version 29. Also couldn't see the options in the settings.
Is it possible to have this feature that Google Chrome lacks?

Oops. Misread the question. But maybe someone will need this.
Don't see a need for a special button; click the X on the tab. Being lazy, I programmed my mouse to issue Ctl-W from button 5. A good keyboard enhancing program (Hotkeyp or AutoHotkey) can help, too. PS - watch out for Ctl-W on other browsers. Close the last tab and . . . Bye-bye.

Please add this feature, so easy to click it by mistake when there are a lot of tabs. Plus, so easy to middle-click to close.
