Don't see a need for a special button; click the X on the tab. Being lazy, I programmed my mouse to issue Ctl-W from button 5. A good keyboard enhancing program (Hotkeyp or AutoHotkey) can help, too. PS - watch out for Ctl-W on other browsers. Close the last tab and . . . Bye-bye.
