I was able to get YouTube to click and play. Requiring me to click a play button to start video.

What setting do I need to set that feature again ?

Objective: Prevent YouTube videos from auto-playing requiring clicking play arrow on screen to begin.

      Thanks

Yes, what leocg refers to is a settings feature that mandates clicking to play, and seems to be, @Opera-man, what you were looking for.

As an aside, if you go to the menu and click Opera turbo, then you also you have to click to get videos like YouTube to play. However, Turbo is generally useful only if you have a very slow connection or a very limited one. You get a more complete rendering of the websites, if you are not in turbo mode. For those who might be interested in turbo mode, here'a link that describes the Opera turbo feature.

Is YouTube's own autoplay feature switched on?
I seem to remember that when they introduced it, it was very annoyingly on by default.
Up near the top right of the page, where the "up next" video list is, there should be a toggle to switch it on and off.
              🙂

Still in mourning for Opera 12.........

They will only if you are using the flash player.

If you are using the html5 player then you may need to use an extension or try Dave's tip.

                  Thank U all again.

                  Autoplay confirmed off. 🆙

It seems it only works with flash player.

Might U direct me to what extension might work with html5 player, I have been unable to find one 😞

Suggestion: Create smilie scratching head indicating confusion. :Confuse: 😕
