Select all text in address bar with one click

This is a major annoyance when trying to use Opera on a touchscreen Windows tablet. In order to go to a different website, I have to either click on the address bar and backspace through all the text, open a new tab, or touch and hold the address bar for 5 seconds or so until I can use the menu to select all and then delete the text.
Allowing one click in the address bar to select all the text, as chrome does, would solve that problem. If there's a way to do it that I just haven't seen, I'd appreciate the help.

When I click in the address bar, on Opera 12.17 or Opera Developer 30, it does select all the text.

That is odd. One tap on the touchscreen is supposed to act as one click with the mouse. I guess I have to figure out a way to change the touch inputs functions. Thanks for the input.
Edit. It doesn't look like this can be changed with any native Windows functions. Opera is handling touch controls differently somehow. When I tap the address bar on Chrome or Internet Explorer, they act as expected, selecting all of the text in the address bar. When I tap it in Opera, it changes to the text input prompt, with all of the text still there.
I am using version 28.0.1750.51 which is supposed to be up to date.

So this is still a problem on windows touch screen tablets. I got touchmousepointer (free and amazing virtual touchpad) and that sorted things out for me. Annoying that its still not working as expected though.
