      Whenever I click on a link, Opera opens the link in a new tab. This is super frustrating, because I can't use the back button on my mouse. Funny enough, it doesn't happen in private mode. Is this a bug?

          @Spacey42 Any examples?

          It can be a page setting, it can be due to a extension, it can be a mouse setting, it can be keyboard issue, etc,

            Browser itself doesn't have such setting.
            So, this might be a problem on your end @Spacey42

            I'd check mouse configuration first.

              Solved the problem. It was a bug on google's side.

                @Spacey42 At https://www.google.com/preferences?#tabVal=1, there's a "Results in new window" option. A few weeks ago, some users were having issues with that setting where it was off, but Google was behaving like it was one. Users had to enable it and then disable it again and that fixed things. I think some were able to goto the URL opera://settings/content/all, type google.com in the search field and click "Delete displayed data" to fix it too.
