@leocg said in How do you disabled the awful new tab system?:
@cska133 It's about disabling the new tabs design.
And tabs islands is tabs groups.
And why is the new tab design, how it looks? Can you send me screenshots of the new tab design please

haha, I thought I was the only one doing thumb gymnastics with this new tab system! I ended up rage-deleting the update and rolling back to the older version.
for now, I’m back in the comfy embrace of classic tabs, where everything makes sense and my fingers don’t need a yoga class. here’s hoping Opera wakes up and gives us the option to un-new things properly soon!

@adnmluong226 @OperaUpdatesSuck I didn't like the new tabs and I was about to go back, but after a few days with them I find it useful.
They are less pretty in black but there's the site icon now and when we open a link in a new tab, it automatically groups, it's cool.
However the design could be better. -

i am curious, what is the visual indication when tabs are groupped? Is there a dropdown arrow or something on the tab to indicate the groupped tab? Or how can I know that a certain tab "contains" many sites?

@cska133 They are preceeded by a color bar (when you click it, it reduces the group) and they are circled in a lighter background (not very visible but may be improved later). A tab still contains one site.
You can install Opera beta if you want to test without update your usual Opera. -

@adnmluong226 Opera 88 Master browser is when they peaked.
The latest update is a laggy bubble waste of screen space like Opera one on pc... -

@OperaUpdatesSuck No, there's no lag and no more space used. Stop lying.
@cska133 You should try. Someone already sent you to the page with photos.
