Not sure how to fix this. Tried removing bookmark data but that had no impact. I see the person below had this issue but no resolution mentioned.

Uninstall / Reinstall ineffective.

Using beta Opera is only way I can keep using Opera at the moment,. While it works it has other non-crash quirks.

@Asstrole Why would deleting bookmarks matter? Deleting sessions (tabs) may help.

@sgunhouse i'll try the tabs. TY As far as bookmarks, when I was searching for fixes on this problem someone with a similar recursive crash problem was told to delete bookmarks so I just tried it too. Bookmarks could also be removed via file-manager which is a necessary requirement since Opera will not run at all. How do I delete tabs via files? I can't clear cache since the browser does not presently run.

@Asstrole In your profile folder is a subfolder named sessions. You delete files from that folder.
