Opera for Android is based on Chromium, and hence will be of similar size to Chrome. Mini is intended for systems with fewer resources; the other alternative would be Opera Mobile Classic though it is showing its age.

Good suggestions. If you're shopping for something small(er than a chromium browser), don't forget to check out the new mini beta it's looking like a really nice product.
