Copy your profile folder from the old install to the new one.

This is no synchronization... this is copy & paste from the current state
I wait for speed-dial sync between devices which all use the new opera 25+

Synchronization currently is only for bookmarks.

Enable opera://flags/#favorites-bookmark-backend but be in mind that this is a very experimental feature and may lead to serious issues, including data loss.
