Even though I set it so Opera 12 is the default, Opera Mail, when opening some links, thinks the latest Opera is my preference. Do I have to remove the latest Opera?

Go to Control Panel > Default Programs (Or similar, my Windows isn't in english) and make sure that Opera 12 has everything checked.

There is no Default Programs in XP's Control Panel. Guess that is used in Win 7. Is there something similar in XP?

            Huh?
The Start button, the same coloured* but rounded icon nearer to the top of the list. 😕
Right next under the "Windows Update" one...

It's not in the Control Panel - it is on the menu though.

Maybe its been removed. Not there. I use Classic Menu and went to the other one where there is Program Defaults but there was nothing there applicable either. Anyways, its of minor importance.

Steve, still it is in the Control Panel: like "Programs install&remove" (no know how in English), there are four tabs there - the last (bottom) it is.
