Multiple opera.exe in task manager

When the browser is open and I look under details of Windows 8.1 task manager, I see 10 opera.exe running. Each with a different PID and memory size. Is this norm? If not, how do I correct?

The new Blink versions of Opera open a new process for the browser itself plus an additional one for each tab used plus each extension. So yes, multiple processes in Task Manager for the new versions of Opera is normal.

Yes it's normal. The new version of Opera is (different than the old version and) based on Chromium code base and uses the Blink rendering engine, with various unique GUI tweaks and changes to give it that Opera feel/look.
