Lenovo Trackpoint Vertical Scrolling is "jumping"

Hi, I wanted to give Opera a shot bc lately I've only heard good things about it, and so far it seems great, super fast! Full of features, but I was struck right away by a huge issue that after searching I haven't found anything relating this problem, which is a total deal breaker for me
My gear:
Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 4
Windows 11 version 23H2
Opera One(versión: 110.0.5130.49)
Device: ELAN Trackpoint Device, latest firmware 31.21.16.2 from 16/6/2021I only use Thinkpads and the main reason is I love trackpoints and wouldn't change them for any trackpad, of any brand, I'm just into trackpoints and that's it, but in Opera the vertical scroll is like "sluggish", buggy, it makes "jumps" instead of a smooth continuous scrolling, plus it has like a very high threshold to initiate the jumps, like 60% of push or more, and is very unpredictable, sometimes it does a small jump, sometimes a medium, sometimes a big one, and I have to do many attempts for each jump, say 5 times, before it happens, bec of the weird high threshold, only to find it did a big jump, missing the movement objective.
I asked ARIA about this and it recommended disabling the mouse gestures, which did nothing at all, tried reinstalling driver and rebooting but nothing
Yes, it works perfectly fine in EDGE and Chrome, it's only with Opera
Oh btw, it acts in the same way for horizontal scrolling, it's both.I'm going back to EDGE until this is solved, it's a shame

I have exactly the same problem, every other browser just scrolls but in Opera instead or scrolling 3 lines it jumps 3 pages ahead, kinda terrible. You can't browse reddit with it for sure

I have an older Lenovo. Pressing the scroll button and moving the trackpoint seems to scroll fine for me. Not really noticing a difference compared to Chrome. Synaptics driver version 19.0.17.115 though. Not Elan.
You can search for "scroll" at the URL
opera://flags
and play with some of the scroll flags. Not sure if it will help though. You can make sure "Use graphics acceleration when available" is enabled at the URL
opera://settings/system
and then adjust the Angle flag for your GPU to see if there's any difference.Besides those things, not sure.

@burnout426 Hi, thanks for the suggestion, I tried a lot of options in that flag and none fixed it, I tried elastic scrolling, smooth scrolling, and another 3 or so that seemed related, nothing, I'm out, uninstalling. Thanks

Got a new Lenovo laptop and installed Opera because of the mouse gestures. Works well so far, but the middle-button scrolling is broken, exactly as described above.
Is there any chance that it will be fixed? I understand that this is just a forum - can I submit a bug report somehow?

I just upgraded from a win10 thinkpad (p51) to a win11 one (e16). I have the same problem. It was fine on my p51. I'd love a solution.
