      Hello,

I use Opera One (version: 106.0.4998.28) on Linux Manjaro and I cannot watch some videos because the DRM is not activated.

The version of opera://components are :

      PKI Metadata - Version : 896
      CRLSet - Version : 8605
      Safety Tips - Version : 3023
      MEI Preload - Version : 1.0.7.1652906823
Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version : 4.10.2710.0

It seems to be OK but the DRM are not active

      How to activate DRM ?

      Thank you for your help

@babache It seems to me that one of the recent versions of Opera broke (again) the DRM under Linux, as I wasn't having any issues with this couple weeks ago, and now the content won't play. Firefox and Vivaldi under the exactly same system (Arch) run DRM content flawlessly.

@zibi1981 DRM is generally Widevine, see if there is an updated version available.

@sgunhouse Widevine is updated and, funny enough, Opera states, that is uses it...

@spinnekop DRM works on deb package, Just Install using deb package from Opera website. Snap version works slow.
Just copy the snap chromium-ffmpeg libffmpeg to /usr/lib/x86-64-linux-gnu/opera

Any solution to this? Running Arch, just did a fresh install. Had this running before but can't remember for the life of me what I did. Widevine updated, Opera updated, I recall having to install a codec but opera-ffmpeg-codecs just isn't a thing anymore?

                    sudo pacman -S opera-ffmpeg-codecs
                    error: target not found: opera-ffmpeg-codecs
warning: 'opera-ffmpeg-codecs' is a file, did you mean -U/--upgrade instead of -S/--sync?

@cmdrkrohw Opera already have DRM. check opera://components or check if netflix plays.

if using snap install of Opera, Opera already have ffmpeg.
If using deb install of Opera, you need to copy the snap install of ffmpeg to Opera as I gave instruction above. FFmpeg is not DRM, is just to play all videos.

It seems in my case firejail is preventing Opera from using DRM, although I don't know why this wasn't the case on a newly installed system.
