Weird region-based behavior on fresh install

I don't even know what to say, honestly. Just installed Opera GX on a fresh PC, it's region is set to Ukraine and the language is set as English. What do you expect fresh Opera to look like in this situation? All the language is English and standard search engines such as Google and Yahoo maybe, whatever.
Instead, it got set to ??russian?? with yandex (russian search engine) as default engine?? Like what the heck?? And, okay, I was able to change the language to English, not a big deal, just really unpleasant to see such thing, but I can't even remove yandex?? It's huge fcking logo is set as default at start page and it's literally forbidden in my country. I literally can't remove it from start page, not even speaking about uninstalling search engine in general.I love Opera GX with all my heart and soul, it's the best browser I've ever used, but with this kind of behavior I just want to instantly switch to something else. And that's what I will do.
I don't care how other people don't understand what is happening in the world, I got used to this, but getting treated like a russian based only on the "Region: Ukraine"? It's some kind of racist shit honestly.
You don't have Ukrainian language yet? Than set it to English, what's the big deal? I am not even talking about search engine, it's just wild. Imagine setting default language to Hebrew and search engine to some common engine in Israel for a person from Palestine. This kind of situation was not on my 2024 bingo card honestly. Very disappointed with Opera. I don't need any further assistance, I am uninstalling Opera and never returning to it. Having good browser in a price of being treated like russian is not worth it.

@sgunhouse Yandex is Russian-owned not Russia-owned. the owner has spoken out in support of Ukraine. boycotting Yandex would not support Ukraine or hurt Russia, let me know if you have any reason to believe differently! I'd love to know more
