I did what konzer71 suggested above;

GO TO SETTINGS----> PRIVACY & SECURITY -----> COOKIES Open ALL COOKIES AND SITES DATA and Remove all

Worked first time.

Here is the solution.

Step 1 :

• Go to settings
• Search cookies
• delete cookies (Select from the beginning of time)

Step 2 :

• Restart Opera
• Open mail.google.com
• Sign in

It worked for me, hope this works for you.

for open gmail on opera 100% working-
just download oper mini ver 7.32444 and copy that to address bar and done.
After log in again copy to adrs bar for full version.

I followed revrickyb's suggestion, but after getting to 'all cookies & site data', I did a search for 'google' & just deleted those cookies since google seemed to be the only area was I was having a problem. Seems to be working.

On Opera 35, I can't sign in, even though I have already deleted all cookies.
Firefox is better.

Works fine here. Are you sure its not a PEBKAC error? A quick search on Google can generally lead you to a solution.

What are your cookies settings? 3rd party cookies are enabled?

I've never had this problem. But as I see, it may happen in Chrome and other web browser, not only Opera.
I often clear my history and cookies by CCleaner instead of Opera, maybe you should try it next time. Try choosing all the recommended selection in Settings, if it doesn't work, maybe re-install Opera will help :p

I gave up trying to fix Google's problem.
My cookies work everywhere except Google so, it isn't a cookie problem here.
The fix

• gMail became Hotmail
• Dropped Google+ all together (pretty worthless anyway)
• YouTube became Vimeo
• Google Search became StartPage.com
  Life is good without Google frustration.

I had the same problem. when i change my clear cookies to past 4 weeks it works i can now login to all the sites including youtube

Well the browser it is fast and pretty good, but I am uninstalling it because this Gmail and Youtube issue it is annoying and to be honest it is too much bull.... to be clearing stuff and data and even if the cookie settings are correct it still gives you the same bull. Sorry wont reinstall until issue is fixed.

*delete browsing data of opera
*restart opera
*allow mail.com while signing to gmail
