Opera25 opens hyperlinks with about:blank

if not running in the background already.
If started in the background all hyperlinks open fine.
How correct that behavior?

Links from what? From email or another program, from the desktop or menu, etc.? Also, what version of Windows. For me, links in email (using Opera Mail) and other programs seem to work fine - those programs that don't ignore my default browser and open IE.

Win 8.1
Links in Outlook, or WinWord, or in PDF's etc.
Opera 25 is default browser.
Have Opera 12 still loaded - this version works fine.

You mean that it opens a blank page and the correct link? Or it just opens a blank page?

My default browser is Opera developer 27 and external links open fine here.

Just opens the page "about:blank".
The sequence:
Opera 25 (default browser) closed.
Click on hyperlink (Outlook, Word Document, PDF etc.)
Default browser (Opera 25) opens with about:blank.
Opera 25 stuck.

If Opera 25 runs in the background - all hyperlinks load ok.
