How to remove the red plus sign in grief on the tabs? Who knows ... I updated Opera and now it’s so bad to close tabs. Opera is the latest version. There is one plus now 2 (on open tabs too).

@leocg If you hover over a tap island, a little red dot appears at the end, and hovering over the dot shows a + sign that drops down a list of tabs in the island. Not sure why you would want to get rid of that, TBH.

@ledsalesoz Mine is not red, maybe that's why I didn't make the connection.

The button is to add tabs to the island.

@ledsalesoz because it is not convenient, if you open many tabs, then this plus appears, it then prevents you from closing the tabs. I did not find how to disable this function in the settings. It is very inconvenient. It was good as before. Or to add a disconnection function

Turn off tab islands option as a variant.
