Way to quickly remove History

When I do control + H for history it pops up with the side bar which is nice but if I want co quickly remove something I can't i click on the X and it takes a few seconds per thing I do not believe this is a problem with my computer as it is super beefy (does anyone else have this problem by the way) maybe if you click X it could visibly remove the history item while its removing it eg I click on the X by youtube https afhjahjsdhfj.www and it looks like its removed it even while its deleting it also option to pause history i couldnt find if there is(is there a incognito mode btw i dont need it lol i dont do wierd stuff im just wondering)

@myminemined A "private window" is not added to history, That's Opera's term for "incognito mode". (Unless you also use a VPN or other proxy, websites like Google can track you by your IP address even in "incognito mode", so don't let the name fool you.)
