      I notice I'm "signed in" in the Opera menu. What is this for? Are they spying on us?

        @hucker You are logged in to Sync, that's what it means. But you know it.

          No I don't "know it". Not sure what you're accusing me of there. I have never and will never use sync. It's not something I'm interested in. I have no idea where the option to do that is in Opera and have never touched it. So why am I logged in, and what is it synching to where? I only use Opera on one desktop. The only things I've ever logged into with regards to Opera are this forum, and cashback.

            @hucker If you click on your avatar at the top right of Opera window, does it say that you are logged in?

              @leocg Yes it does.

              Synch is off, but pinboards and shopping corner are turned on. So I guess in my case it's for the cashback? No idea what a pinboard is, I have a vague recollection of someone asking me to try it in here to fix something.

                @hucker Yep, it can be due to the Cashback. It just means that you are logged in to your Opera account.
