I'll look into this and see what I can do. I can't give a timeline on this unfortunately. Might be able to peek at some other add-ons that do this and see if I can get something similar implemented.

This extension does work. It keeps saying: "This page isn't working".

how do i remove this? i installed it to opera gx sidebar but i can only hide it, i cant fully remove it...

@chr1s01 You can remove any extension in the extension manager page: opera://extensions.

Just keeps logging me out. Always see the QR code to login after its been closed for a few minutes.

It wont load the google messages web page at all. just tells me it tried to reach the website too many times

For anyone having the 403 error, the sidebar does work, but you need to login before using it

Go to https://messages.google.com
Login through the website
Once logged in, use the sidebar
403 should be gone and should be usable
