While it does download videos successfully from certain websites, it also has malware attached to it, just like someone else said before.
I can't recommend this extension when it's opening new tabs on its own and who knows what else its doing. -

When I am using this and other video downloaders on other browsers, I also have adBlock Plus and uBlock Origin running. In the past few years, I have only had a virus/malware issue once or twice, and each time, the video downloader I was using (I have three) would alert me that the file contains malware, and it then deletes the file.
I would recommend that you install both adBlock Plus and uBlock Origin and see if the virus/malware issue goes away.

Doesn't work. I get this: "The file didn't download. Click the "Download" button if you want to download the file again."

Crashed my Opera, turning it unusable, had to manually uninstall it from "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\Extensions" so to return stability to my Opera build. I'm still using Windows 7.
IDK if this is a conflict with other extensions, but an extension should never act so to corrupt your browser on its roots. -

@henriqueopera: I can confirm this to be true, I was testing by disabling all extensions and enabling them one by one and when this one was enabled it opened a new tab when I visited any store page so they can make money off you!

@autorefreshpage newegg and amazon are two I use a lot, and I noticed once a day those sites opened a new tab, when I visited them, which then closed on its own (it was also blocked by my ublock sometimes).

Recently, this extension having huge problem with RAM when video download reach 100% and saving to disk. Even my computer has 16GB RAM (11GB free when download is working), it will consume 100% RAM at final step, even compress and use up to 32GB RAM. The worst thing is it also may crash at that step, reload the extension will redo the last troublesome step.
