Opera now won't run Andor on Disney+

I bought a new laptop, upgraded my broadband to 250MBPS ..but now Opera freezes up when I try to watch the last episode on Andor on DisneyPlus. I know the problem is with Opera because I was able to actually watch the episode on my laptops default browser.
Opera worked fine before all my upgrades.
PC laptop, new OS - Win11, old OS Win10. Old broadband speed - 40 MBPS.
Any help appreciated.

@archaicwarrior888 Did you try disabling the ads/tracking blockers as suggested in other topics?

@leocg No, but I cannot see how that would help ?
I can run Netflix ok, so i assumed it was Disney+ problem .. but then I tested a different Browser, and Andor played ok ..so .. ???
I will try disabling stuff.
I wonder if certain channels are targeting non-compliant browsers, those who block ads. ???

@archaicwarrior888 So there are some topics/posts suggesting that the tracking blocker may be causing page crashes.

@leocg hmmmm, tried removing Track blockers, still froze. Then I tried removing Ad Blocker, still froze.
hmmmm..
it goes - Blue screen, "Disney Plus" logo, then rainbow beam logo (white), sound effect. Then "Original" below that. Then nothing, loading appears to be stopped as i need to click the "play" icon, to start loading. Then i get a spinning circle, loading cursor for about 10 seconds, then the screen is black with a smaller Disney Plus logo .. and frozen.
hmmm. ..am I missing a add-on ?

@archaicwarrior888 I am having exactly the same issue with Andor as well.
I have tried disabling ad/tracker blockers, disabling hardware acc and deleting cookies/using incognito. Still the same issue as Warrior described. Disney+ logo plays then freezes.
It's strange; some other shows work. Even other episodes of Andor but only when they have been viewed before. Seems to only freeze if it is a new episode that is started or something that has not been watched before.

@archaicwarrior888 So there is no freeze or crash, the video just doesn't play? I would try disabling all extensions.

@leocg It's fresh download of Opera, just a few days ago. i don't think there is any extensions .. but I'll check.
Yes, no Freeze of Opera, just doesn't play / download video. Maybe it's a W11 thing ? I don't trust W11 .. when is Opera going to make a Pc OS ?

@archaicwarrior888 Only a specific video doesn't play? Or no video play?

@leocg I'm having issues with Andor Ep 12. Then I tested "Guardians of the Galaxy - Xmas Special" and same issue as Andor.
If I click on the Disney icon on my new laptop, it runs those movies ok. I assume it uses the default browser for W11.
I have contacted Disney regarding this problem, they said they would get back to me in a few days. I told them I use Opera.

Some other shows work fine. Even episodes of Andor since they have already been watched before. It only seems to happen if it's a new episode or something that has not been watched before.
I too tried disabling my ad blocker, deleting cookies, and using an incognito window. But I'm still experiencing the same issue that Warrior saw before. The Disney+ logo will start spinning and then freeze up. -

Opera 93.0.4585.37 64-bit on Windows 11 Version 22H2 (Build 22621.900). en_US locale in the USA.
All 12 episodes of Andor on Disney+ play fine for me. None of them were watched before.
