Start Page design question

I'm using 92.0.4561.43, but this issue has always been present for me.

The page design of the Start Page has me confused because there is a huge empty space above the news grid. . It doesn't affect the functionality, but on a laptop, it looks like the news grid is missing. It's just very weird and I'm wondering if the gap is intentional?

@pillsbur As said in other topics about it, that space is by design.
