Opera not able to access webcamOpera for Mac
Using Mac OS X 10.15. Latest version of Opera.
Even though I have granted permission for a certain site to access my webcam on a certain site, the site is saying it doesn't have access and therefore I can't use the camera. On my Mac, I then went to Security & Privacy in System Preferences, and opened the Privacy tab. I then try to give Opera access to both camera and microphone from that list, but Opera is not among the list of applications I can grant permission to.
Does anyone know why Opera is not being registered by the system as an application that has access to my camera and mic?
Thank you for your help!

Start Page design questionOpera for Mac
I'm using 92.0.4561.43, but this issue has always been present for me.
The page design of the Start Page has me confused because there is a huge empty space above the news grid. . It doesn't affect the functionality, but on a laptop, it looks like the news grid is missing. It's just very weird and I'm wondering if the gap is intentional?
Thanks,

Opera evangelism for blocked sites?Opera for Mac
What are some best practices for communicating with websites that use User Agent strings to block Opera from their site even though Opera is fully capable of using it? For example, I regularly run into sites that don't know Opera can use RDP for webcam/mic recording, and either block me (or present a scary warning) or give me the Flash version of whatever page needs access to the camera.
Is there some good language that I can use to let these website admins know that Opera is perfectly ok?

Thanks. That worked. I wish I didn't have to turn off that protection though.

[Solved]Disqus not loading on Opera desktopOpera for computers
This site uses Disqus for comments but the Disqus embed does not display at the bottom of the article. Disabling the ad blocker does not solve the problem.

Speed Dial layout looks wrongOpera for Mac
Hi,
Can anything be done about the huge gap in the layout of speed dial on my computer? I want the news to be higher up where it's actually visible, but there is a big empty space there instead. What setting am I missing? Here's a screenshot:
Thanks!

RE: Opera not able to access webcamOpera for Mac
@tomnapper Thanks for the reply. I should have written back sooner. The problem was one I'd run into before where the OS X camera database needs to be reset. I followed the instructions on this page, and got it working correctly. It's not an Opera problem.

RE: Office 365 Mail NotifierOpera add-ons
@aperina: No, the extension does not have access to your password. You must open your email in a tab, and the extension simply reads the data from the open tab.
