Cannot get Speed dial tiles back

Is there Any way to restore the speed dial panels without techno jargon? I've tried everything suggested and Nothing works.
I can see the tiles in the bookmarks folder. I've copy and pasted them again, restarted browser etc. Nothing! I also want the search box on the page as it used to be, not in the tiny search bar atop.
I may be looking for yet another browser. -

@edstorm80 Search box is a setting. The tiles, drag to the Speed dial folder.
