I'm using my CPU limiter, but I've found I can only set the limits to be 0%, 25%, 50%, 70%, and 100%. I want to get more specific than that. Am I missing something here? if not, why limit the user to just these presets?

@slip123 i think you speak about Opera GX. CPU limiter doesn't really limits you CPU to certain amount of load, but to amount of your CPU Cores. I see that you have four options above 0%, it seems that your CPU has at least 4 cores. 25% means one core, 50% two cores, etc. Once you set your limits, Opera will not exceed the amount of CPU cores you did set in your limit settings.

          I don't think you can limit to 0%. 😂

From what I've found, it says that it's limited to those 4 values only. I don't think you will typically need more granularity, unless you are doing some CPU intensive processing on the browser and you don't want to miss a CPU cycle.

sounds like it merely changed the same setting you can change in task manager, 'core affinity', iirc, where you have a checkbox for the various cores to toggle the use of them for each process.
or threads, depending on the cpu
