Chat is all jankie to the point where I cannot use Opera GX

On any chatting service such as Discord, Guilded, Facebook Messenger I cannot hit enter to send a message, backspace also does not work and I need to highlight and then click backspace in order to get it to work. It works fine on other browsers as well as the apps themselves but Opera simply does not function with chat apps. This makes it so I'm forced to use other browsers, and it just started a few days ago out of the blue. Is there any fix to this or is this a bug that's new?
