Thanks leocg, that page proved to be most helpful. It would appear that there are plenty of keyboard shortcuts in Opera that aren't immediately visible, like the Ctrl-Shift-T that reopens last closed tab. Is there a list of these "hidden" shortcuts?

Click on Settings in the menu (or Alt P), then click on Opera Help, then click on Navigate with Shortcuts. There you have the mouse and keyboard shortcuts
