Reporting and Moderation

Well, for now reports are supposedly going a way and a half.
The way is e-mail, the half is instant prompting (working not only if a mod on-site - but s/he has to stare at the screen at the moment).
The way (mailing) is no better: suppose the mod still gets emails when s/he off-site --- now what? The only way to deal with the above depicted "ways" is throwing them to the trash can.
And making something normal.
Like inline flagging, a mod mode of sorts (a mod can get a table grouping all the reported stuff - with the reasons shown). (Don't forget there might happen a "revoke stock" needed - or not. It's merely a trash can, where certain stuff resides for a limited period of time. In case...)<hr>
You know what? Those who report things might be interested that I've found an easy gesture while reporting: when you hit the grey word "Reason" above the typing box, you immediately get skipped to the bottom "Submit" button - instead of having to hit an area or F9 and then using your PgDn key  :sherlock:
Yes, and by this I officially apply to a moderator. Or we can create a new staff item - like curator (two guys have already applied: :psmurf: & :beard: / ).

It definitely works in Opera (presto). In Google Chrome, it does not (though not needed). I didn't check about Firefox, but so long as the editing/typing box is squeezed there, it's not needed either.

What this supposed to mean?</blockquote>
joshl was responding to a post someone posted here asking if this was the right place to ask questions about Opera Mini. I deleted the post because it was off topic.</blockquote>
Linux, you should've edited my post with inserting his/her quote there first.
Nevermind... -

The mod was so frustrated that he/she hardly could handle the keyboard.;)
I don't know - maybe we should create a Lounge topic to preserve funny posts? With funny typos and such:)
As long as it's impersonal -

Don't know about the others but i receive lots of notifications about spam posts daily and, to be honest, most of them are kinda useless for me.
This is because i probably won't come here to deal with spam posts just after have received the notifications or because of them, unless, maybe, if i'm already on the computer/web doing nothing else important. 99,9% o fthe time i deal with spammers when i come to the foruns to read them.
Also, those obvious and evident spam threads will be seen and removed by a mod sooner or later. The clever ones are those that may look like as a normal thread or comment, reporting them would be more useful imho.

Leo, do you have your notifications enabled?
We're still having something here...:faint: -

There was a normal suggestion made by myself - I don't know where exactly. About an automaton and a "shadow board" for moderators. I could add to that suggestion, that the [presumed] automaton could hide new&unanswered topics - if they get, say, ten reports by users. -

Here we come again:
Post held for moderation
Guess it was spaaam - I had even TWO
[](link)
s in my post! Definitely it was spam (the links were to other threads in that same section both). -

Hey, it held one of mine too. Admittedly it had spam words in it, but that was the topic. But at least I get to approve my own posts ...
Steve, was it an antibaba filter implemented?
If so, I hope its tuning won't take ages <!-- and kilometres of our nerves -->.
