Hi,
How do I get opera to use a single directory in c:\program files\opera and not leave files in c:\program files such as opera.exe and directories such as 84.0.4316.21.
The system is win10 (x64) with the latest release.
Thanks,
David

@davidvinograd You don't. When installed for all users, at least, Opera uses C:\Program Files\Opera (or Opera Stable) as the installation directory and it will contains sub-folders.
As far as I know, Opera should not place any files in C:\Program Files main folder.

Are you suggesting I de-install it and then reinstall it? I just forced an install and was not asked whether I wanted it for all users.
Note currently there is no opera folder in c:\program files.
Thanks,
David

@davidvinograd Yes, you can choose the installation directory. C:\Program Files\Opera is the default one for all users.
If you don't see Opera in C:\Program Files, then it may be in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs
In opera://about you can see the location of the installation folder.
