Opera (Not responding) when trying to import bookmarks and settings to new PC.

Hello! Happy new year to you all. I have a new PC and have installed Opera on it. I exported my Bookmarks and settings into a HTML file from my old PC but when I try and import to the new PC it just ends up with Opera (Not responding) and so failing. Does anyone know what the issue may be please? TIA.

@ajmf Don't know what the issue is, but as far as Bookmarks you should be able to copy the Favorites file(s) from your old version to the new one.

How many entries are in the bookmarks file? It could take a while to import if there are a lot. You could try importing the HTML file into Chrome or Firefox and then export again and import that HTML file instead to see if there's any difference.

As said though, you can just copy the "Bookmarks" and "BookmarksExtras" files from Opera's profile on the old computer to Opera's profile on the new computer (choosing to overwrite the existing ones) if you still have them.
