Opera GX doesn't open PDF files on a new tab.

When I click on a hyperlink to a pdf file, instead of opening a new tab to preview the PDF file, it downloads. And I have indeed toggled the "Open PDF's in Chromium" option (as shown in the image below). What do I do?

@blazinglunatic Can depend on the server too. If the server is set up to download, that's what the browser will do.

im confused now because i tried today to open one of the same files that refused to be read on the browser and it worked
