@operauserx Most websites that remap or block the right mouse button usually end up doing the same to the extra buttons. Tell them to fix it.

@operauserx What is known as button4, the default Back button on mice which have one. Some mice will allow you to reconfigure it, but if configured as "default button" then javascript that intercepts the right mouse button will usually intercept that button as well. So yes, I knew what he meant.

do you mean the button on some gaming mice:

when you click it and you are on browser you go back one page, the same function of

            alt + arrow left?

@operauserx Any "explorer" mouse does too, though gaming mice are more likely to remap it. If you can remap it to the keyboard function then the script won't block it since the script won't see it as a mouse button any more, but you might have cases where the button goes back twice if you do.

@operauserx no, DPI button is something else. My mouse has 6 additional buttons. They can be remaped to anything from the software it has.

btw, my expectation was that these buttons where same as browser UI back/forward buttons.

why it is not handled by Opera directly? what are their usecase for the website?

does the site take control of your cursor?

like if you go to a shooter game like, the browser is not affected wherever you move the cursor or press any keys, your website error must be having the same problem.

@operauserx no it does not. Just found out, if I go to a website, then go back to speed dial, pressing forward button does not work. Same happens on Windows
