Seems that lately with newer updates, there is a noticeable delay when I click to switch tabs. Is this just my system (Windows 7 Pro) or is this noticeable to anyone else?

No delay here (on different W10 versions, using Opera development version on both). But - because W7 is not very supported anymore, some glitches may appear; from your description this can be related either to disk speed (if you have older, spinning HDD), third-party antivirus or some graphic driver problem.

Have you tried switchig tabs with Opera extensions disabled? They may interfere too.

I thank you for your input, I've tried disabling my extensions, doesn't seem to make any difference. What does seem to make a difference though is closing O down (and making sure the tabs that were open reboot on opening), and then reopening it. The delay is pretty much gone, but over time the delay reappears.

          ???
