What the hell are these Opera Trojans?

Opera has a plethora of tasks running even for a small number of tabs, I was not convinced that they were all necessary so I looked in detail at windows task manager settings.

So WTH are these tags for Ali Express and Booking modal flags

Is Opera building in more trojans for these commercial sites, i.e. similar to the Amazon Assistant trojan?

Is this already happening?

If Opera has sold it's soul users will be forced to abandon it.

These trojans are a complete breach of GDPR and you risk being massive fines.

@fckopera Probably related to Continue on Shopping and Continue on Booking features.

And they aren't trojans, they are just flags that developers use to enable/disable something they are testing.

Also it doesn't break GDPR.

@fckopera You might notice, they all seem to say "=off", that means they are disabled.
