@sophiagracia I tried that way. Worked but couldn't Exit back to mobile. Had to log out/in to YouTube. Hassle.

the toggle moved, making the Setting Appear off. Which it was for other sites. But being logged into YT then YT kept the desktop mode.

@henerey You can try closing the tab to return to mobile mode.

Yes, you can hear with the screen off.

Following is the procedure

Open youtube in the Desktop version, start the video, minimize Opera or open a new tab. If audio stops, swipe from the top of the screen, to get where you can turn on/off wifi, and press the plays arrow. That's it.

I think he is not asking regarding Opera for PC/Desktop he is asking how can we minimize the YouTube on Opera for Android, But if you are an android user then you can also use YouTube Vacned.

@adnanliaqat Mobile browsers allow you to load websites in desktop mode/version.

@sophiagracia From yesterday, I can't use dextop version of youtube continiously.I haven’t changed any settings till now. And unable to play youtube in back-ground using the notification banner while I am outside of the app. I will be very appreciated if I am informed of the issue. Thanks.🥺
