How do I open an HTML file and see the website, not the code? (I could not find topics related to this so I used "opera for windows.")

@thevoodoking243 If you are seeing just the code, them the HTML file may have been saved incorrectly or be corrupted.
Also, you may need to be online.

I am connected to the internet, and I am sure that it is not courrupted. I downloaded it from another social media platform.

In Internet Explorer, click View then click Source. In Chrome, click Tools then click View Source In Mozilla Firefox, click Tools. Mouse over “Web Developer” to open the side menu and then click Page Source. In Opera, mouse over Page to open the side menu.

What extension is the file? I can open .htm and .mth files without any problem.
