I say what?
There are posts that may hang here for days. I saw one or two.
I can see them - I'm a linguist by nature, I enter them and report them - nobody sees it, right?Andreas, another scenario: moderators see the same board as others - but flagged with red numbered icons - reports on each board; entering them, mods can see same threads - but reported ones are red or like that. Additionally, they can have a sorting tool - like "show reported first" - to easier see everything at once.
Also, I could suggest autoflagging - providing there's a filtering automaton on site. -

I wasn't talking about knowing languages. However it can be a case, too - for our users in general.

So... a question exists: is there any point to users flagging spam as "spam", using the forum reporting tool? And if not, why does the reporting feature exist? Those of us who have faithfully taken time to report spam after spam would really like to know...

We, mods, should be receiving e-mail/pop-ups alerts when a post is flagged but it seems that there is a bug.

I've never ever received any form of notification (either email or otherwise) for reports of spam. But then again, I would only ever deal with spam when at home or using a desktop computer, Never when mobile or at work (which happens to be a 'non-connected' role), and I don't get paid at work for surfing on my mobile phone.

Is there any way I can sign up for mod?
I'd like to also just so I can get rid of spam when I see it instead of waiting.

Somebody needs beating up.
For the spam-report bug continuing, or for the spam itself? Or both...?

Did you hover?
Usually, I only hover if I've ingested too much pain medication after some medical procedure. However, if you mean hover over the text, I usually don't do that unless the text's been highlighted. Having hovered over the text, I do finally recognize what you meant... so you've answered my questions. Thank you.

I believe I've fixed the setting now, so it's available to moderators.
Setting is there, yes, but I never got "flagged"-notifications on site so far (haven't tried email notifications)

I wonder if the black megic specialists can really help with Flash problems, malware protection and overall customisability.

Call 'em and find out. There's a phone number posted in the Windows forum at least once every day... in fact, it's there right now!

... A couple of them do list websites.
I'm guessing that the spamming here involves a middleman, hired by the shills running the website and paid to deliver spam on a per-unit basis. Of course, in the shady business of scamming/spamming/hacking, one area can quickly blur into another and they may all be subset parts of something more broadly organized.
