In WhatsApp on sidebar, no sound playing video or audio files

Someone had started a topic with this problem but locked.

I'm using Opera 73 (Windows 10 64-bit) official installations and What's App sidebar has never played any sound of Audio or Videos. I always have to switch to my iPhone.

All Audio drivers etc are installed correctly and I don't have problems with any websites or any other software.

Any idea?

You can try clicking on Whatsapp at sidebar --> three dots at upper left and "Unmote Whatsapp"

@diezi Thanks a Lot .. after the 3rd look I've found these 3 dots ... no idea that I've never seen or clicked on it. ... but your words "at upper left" helped to find! I always clicked on the 3 dots on the profile where is the settings menu and didn't find anything.

some problem solving steps that will help.

• While playing sound, adjust the volume button.
• Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound Driver.
• If this will not work, reinstall the sound driver.
