Option to load all new webpages in “desktop site”

I use my iPad for all of my computing needs, it would be nice to be able to have Opera load all of my webpages in their “Desktop site” forms automatically rather than open the options and toggled the “Desktop Site” switch every. single. time. a new tab is opened.
Companies like Apple and Microsoft are building their tablets to be more and more capable of meeting all of a user’s computing needs, and no mobile web browser has such an option to accommodate the users who use their tablets for everything and frequently need sites in their desktop form.

@sgunhouse I don’t feel like that’s a very good excuse for Opera though.
I did find an app that loads every webpage in desktop mode called “Desktop only browser” along with a few others with the same concept.
So I don’t understand why Opera couldn’t offer it as a feature since Apple wont allow regular “Opera” in the App Store. That makes the iPhone user’s experience seem a little discounted. But I’m not well-versed in everything that goes into app regulation within the app stores, so It’s not really my place to criticize.
Thanks for responding!

Opera Touch is really intended as a phone browser; I tried the Android version a few times on my tablet but found the regular Opera just more useful. If you want to ask them to add a setting so you can choose "desktop site" as default go ahead, but at least on Android that's not what they intended it for.

It's unfortunate Apple won't allow regular Opera in the App Store. Opera for Android has an option in Settings like what you are requesting.
I find this incredibly interesting about apple, do you have any more information on the subject?
