We just released stable 72.0.3815.320 which includes earlier mentioned fixed for address bar issue. This will also be followed up by developer update 74.0.3870.0 later today and beta update later this week which were also affected by this issue.
Seems to work! Thanks!

@gmiazga Good morning
I have the version of Opera 72.0.3815.211 and I am very unhappy because the loading of various pages keeps crashing.
This error does not occur in Firefox, Microsof Edge, Google Chrome. Please solve this problem.
I completely reinstalled the browser, activated it as a allowed exception in Windows 10, accepted all cookies and besides, I have a working system (Win10 2004) I only have Windows Defender antivirus and 1000 Mbit LAN installed. I uninstalled and reinstalled and this error continues.
I am asking for a solution to this problem.Regards and thank you!

@leocg & @SnowEisen
sorry, I mixed some information/observation with newer version number (might happen through browser-restart before copying version number) ...in version 72.0.3815.320 I can't reproduce this issue ... works fine for me

Updated to 320. Typing into the search/address bar is working. The Prediction service still doesn't turn off. Still getting previous search and websites popping down.

Build 320 installed on Windows 10 20H2 and Linux Mint LMDE4. I opened up about 20 new tabs on each and I couldn't reproduce the error. Looks like it's all set.
