When upgrading to version 72, the session files Current Session, Current Tabs, Last Session and Last Tabs from the Opera 72.0.3815.148 profile are lost, while the old session is loaded when the browser is opened.
Does everyone have it?
What files are Opera sessions now stored in?
PS. Tested on 3 different Opera versions 72.0.3815.148.
PPS. Quickly find out where your Opera profile is - Menu \ Help \ About

@diegobusquets Sessions seem to be saved under the Sessions folder in Opera's profile directory.

Chromium changed things. As said, session stuff is stored in files in the Sessions folder now.

@burnout426 Then you need to update the help - https://help.opera.com/en/latest/crashes-and-issues/ Are there any developers? Where can I read official sources about changing the location of sessions?

@diegobusquets Yes, they probably will update the help page at some point.

@diegobusquets Since it's a Chromium change, you may find something on their pages.

How to downgrade to older version of Opera which supports the classic tab dropdown list then while the mentioned above files are now different and the structure is totally changed? The horizontal tab cycler is absolutely useless for me when I'm having like hundreds of tabs and the mouse cursor hovers and switches to random tab unintentionally...
Okay, we have to downgrade by installing an older version from the ftp, but how can we retrieve the old session and tabs?
Please, let us know. I won't use Opera if I won't get back the dropdown list from v68.
Thanks! -

How to restore the last session after Opera crashed?
It was'nt successfully, deleting the latest Session_xxxxxxxxx-file and renaming the last one before Opera crashed.
It was much better, as sessions were saved in "Last Session"-File. -
