@wga Here when I access Gmail for the first time, it asks if I want to use it to open mail links.

@leocg thanks for this. my question is about how to set up Opera to default to gmail as its mailto default. currently, i'm unable to have Opera send any web page via email at all.

          best,
          wg

@wga When you open Gmail in Opera, you are not asked about using it to handle mailto links? See if Gmail i snot blocked at opera://settings/handlers

Regarding the second part, I don't think Opera can do it. At least on Windows, you need to use an extension to share pages.

@leocg no, i just opened gmail in Opera and wasn't asked about mailto links.
thanks for the handlers tip. i found it and gmail was listed so i changed it to the default email.

so, the only way to share pages in Opera on Mac is to copy the link and then email the link?

thanks very much for your help.

@wga As far as I know, yes. Not a Mac user myself, so can't say for sure.

On Windows, it's the only way.
