Not a Mac user myself, so can't say for sure.

On Windows, it's the only way.

thanks for the handlers tip. i found it and gmail was listed so i changed it to the default email.

so, the only way to share pages in Opera on Mac is to copy the link and then email the link?

See if Gmail i snot blocked at opera://settings/handlers

Regarding the second part, I don't think Opera can do it. At least on Windows, you need to use an extension to share pages.
