Windows 10. Moist recent Opera. How can I make different work spaces? At the moment, bookmarks are identical in my two spaces. If I delete a bookmark in one space, it is also deleted in the other. How comes?

@deichgraf88 You can't, workspaces don't use different profiles.

A workspace is a place to collect tabs. While it would be nice to have different speed dials or bookmarks bars in different workspaces, they don't do that. Yet. Check in Suggestions and Feature Requests to see if someone else has already requested this and either support their request or create one.

Thanks for two replies. If there are no different profiles, what is the use of different work spaces?

@deichgraf88 Workspaces are a way of grouping tabs. See https://help.opera.com/en/latest/features/#workspaces

@deichgraf88 For the reasons mentioned on the page, for example?

@leocg Yeah, but maybe I misunderstand tabs. Please describe what you do. Can I leave "open" a website in my workspace?

Yes, you can, als long as the browser is open. What is the use of placing tabs in different spaces? When using the browser, I'm focused on one topic. So why should I separate weather tabs from politics tabs if I do not open them at the same time? It would be much more useful to place bookmarks in different spaces to make for a clear arrangement.

@deichgraf88 The reason is that you like, you need and/or you want to do it.
If you don't, then the feature is not for you.
