      Hello,
on my company´s login page there are two password-entry fields for two-key authentification. First one is for a smartphone-generated one-time key, second one is the regular password.

When saving the password, opera saves the one-time key, not the real password.
(Both fields are of type "password", the IDs are "passwd" and "passwd1" and the names are random)

I suggest that in case of multiple password-entry fields, opera should open a dialog box to ask the user which password to save.

I think pages with more than one password for two-key authentification will become more and more.
Opera would be the first browser to address this problem.

      Regards,
      choensmuc

@choensmuc You probably need to ask the same to Chromium.

I'm kind of curious how that is supposed to work. Where I work, you submit your username and password and they text you the second code; I'm not sure how your phone is supposed to give you a code before you've told them who you are.

First I start an app "RSA SecurID" on my smartphone. After entering a 4 digit PIN I get a eight-digit number, which is valid for one minute.
Then on my desktop I open my company´s login page.
There are three entry fields. first one for my userid, second one for the eight-digit one-time key and third one for my regular password.
Opera offers to save the password, but it does save the one-time key in the second field.

I suggest that in case of multiple password fields on one page, there should be a dialog box asking the user which password to save.

Or maybe - like creating a new search engine - you could just right-click in the desired field and choose "Save password" from the menu?

                @sgunhouse: good idea.
That´s a step closer to what I mean.

I can save the password in the third field this way.
When I got the page the next time, I can recall the password by left-clicking on the third field and choosing my userid. Does work, but it needs two mouse-clicks.

I´d like opera to fill in my userid and the passwort right away after opening the page.

That would be the ease of use I´m used to in opera since long tim. 😉

I meant only when you save it - the next time you visit that page Opera should fill in the username and selected password form. (Should, not does currently.)
