I have a red dot on the extensions icon. What does this mean?

@leocg ... the icon in the Opera sidebar that looks like a box. If you hold the cursor over it, it says Extensions. There is a small red dot at the top right side of the icon (box).

@browzer1 It probably means that something needs you attention. Did you already look at the extensions page?

@browzer1 I never had a red dot on an extension. Have you tried to go to "opera icon" => "Extensions" => "Extensions" or ctrl + shift + E and see what your extension gives you from there ?

@leocg ... this is interesting. Every Extension that is not from Opera add-ons has a corresponding red dot also. No action is required. It looks like it's just a warning notification.
